Chaka is the son of Simba and Nala, born directly after his brother, Nywele. As a cub, he was very smart and wise, and dreamt of the day he would someday rule his own kingdom. However, this dream grew into jealousy once he learnt that his father had chose Nywele as the next king. He became strict of doing anything with his family, and would often visit other prides, only to be found by his father and lectured. Soon after, Chaka met Sanaa, a young female cub who had seemed to have similar problems with her siblings. Sanaa had a slight crush on her friend, although she never admitted it. When he was a teenager, Nywele had finished his studies of being king, and was the next ruler of Pride Rock. In a attempt to take over Pride Rock, he demanded to fight with Nywele. The two did so, but Nywele was no match for the young rebel, and lost the match, fleeing far away. Chaka was pleased, and laughed. However, Simba had watched the whole thing from afar, and grew angry with his son. He exiled him, telling him to leave. Sanaa, being his best friend, went with him, promising Simba that she would help him remain calm.
Chaka, now nearly insane, demanded revenge on his father. Sanaa wanted to remain by his side, but his now twisted personality made it impossible. She left early on in his search for a home. Chaka found a nice place in his father's jungle, which was abandoned. There, he trained for the day he would kill his father and take his kingdom by force.
Finally, Chaka decided it was the day to attack. He ran to the Pride Lands, laughing violently. It was the day of Kovu and Kiara's coronation, and Kovu was now the king of the Pride Lands. With a roar, Kovu ran towards the rogue, and a blood shed battle appeared in the lands. Kiara was confused about how he was her brother. Chaka was winning the fight, and landed into the gorge, alongside Kovu. They clinged to the sides, Chaka at the bottom. Kovu wanted the rogue gone, and with one swipe, he sent Chaka into the gorge's water, where he was never seen again. Permissions: Private (Only the artist can use this character.
